This group of over 60s initially got together through the Counter-Weight program for weight-loss.  It is now continuing on a fortnightly basis.

Whilst the main aim is to loose weight - the group hopes to achieve this by making small but steady, sensible changes to the diet.  A gradual change, introduced over time will ensure a safe, stable and lasting weight-loss.

The other key part of the group is understanding the principles of good nutrition.  Using the foods that are freely available to people in Hackney, the group discusses how best to adapt their usual different diets to improve the nutritional value. 

New members are always welcome to join this group.
