An ancient Chinese medicine used to help modern Western disease and one of the longest established forms of healthcare in the world. Acupuncturists are trained to use subtle diagnostic techniques that have been developed and refined over thousands of years.

The focus is on an individual, not the illness, and all symptoms are seen in relation to each other. Treatment involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body to affect the flow of your body’s qi, or vital energy. Our acupuncturists are John Philbin and Fatima Bailey.

The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) provides guidelines for the NHS on the use of treatments and care of patients and recommends Acupuncture for Chronic Pain  as well as chronic tension-type headaches and migraines
