Independent Age

Independent Age’s Grants Fund is helping smaller charities across the UK
support older people most affected by COVID-19.
The aim is simple, to collaborate by supporting community projects that help older people
living in challenging situations and in danger of being out of sight and out of mind.
The Grants Fund has distributed £3.3million across five funding rounds
to support 277 applications of up to £15,000 each. To find out more visit

Hackney Giving

Hackney Giving is led by Hackney CVS, registered charity no 1069736.

In March 2020 HCVS  quickly repurposed Hackney Giving to respond to the crisis. Since then they have been raising funds to channel to local voluntary and community organisations as they care for our residents. Hackney Giving extensive local knowledge and understanding of grassroots community groups in Hackney puts them in a unique position to be able to help.

City and Hackney CCG 

NHS City and Hackney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is an NHS organisation led by local GPs, who are best placed to assess, understand and meet the health needs of their patients, ensuring effective and accessible healthcare for all.

Corporation of London:

The City of London Corporation is the governing body of the Square Mile dedicated to a vibrant and thriving City, supporting a diverse and sustainable London within a globally-successful UK

South Hackney Parochial Charity was constituted under a trust deed dated 6 November 1900 as varied by the Charity Commission Scheme dated 27 September 1968.

Although the charity’s main objective is the upkeep of the almshouses and other properties, a major objective is the promotion of education and the relief of need in the Parish of South Hackney.
